Costa Rica: Love in Action

A dedicated team, including Pastor Carlos Sales (RtH Staff), Pastor Samuel Sarpood (Living Word Outreach Church in Connecticut), and Chris Anderson (RtH Staff), recently embarked on a mission trip to Costa Rica. Their multifaceted goals included:

• Leading four nights of Financial Workshops for various local churches.

• Advancing the RtH Church Planting Strategy and Pastoral Training program.

• Providing encouragement and support to our missionaries.

• Visiting a local girls' orphanage.

• Witnessing the completion of the Rancho, a new facility crucial for our Church Planting Training.

We are thrilled to report that RtH successfully raised $13,000 to fund the construction of this vital Rancho!

Church Planting Launch

We were present for the launch of a new church plant's first service.

We're thrilled to announce that Pastor Christopher Arista will be leading our Church Planting initiatives at RtH. For the past several years, we've been diligently developing strategies for church planting and robust pastoral training. Leveraging Pastor Chris's extensive experience as a Bible School Director and my own background in planting a large church (which launched with 1,800 people), we've meticulously finalized the second draft of the RtH Church Planting Strategy and Pastoral Training program.

We'll soon be gathering feedback from our RtH church planting pastors globally. Following their input, a trusted friend with a Doctorate in Church Planting will review the strategy before we implement it across all of our missionary efforts worldwide. Already, Pastor Chris has begun training eight men in essential Bible study and preaching skills, laying crucial groundwork for this global expansion.

We held a Q&A session for the men participating in the Church Planting Training.

Financial Workshops

Over four evenings, Chris Anderson, an RtH Staff member, CPA, and Forensic Auditor, alongside Pastor Carlos Sales, conducted financial workshops.

Worship on the opening night of the workshop was led by the local pastor's children.

Encouraging the People in Costa Rica

Thanks to $13,000 raised by RtH, a new Rancho (patio) has been built. This outdoor space will be invaluable for hosting various training classes, particularly our Church Planting Training, and will even serve as the future location for a new church plant.

We brought approximately 100 t-shirts to distribute to the children at a special event held at Pastor Christopher's church.

One of the highlights of our trip is to watch Daniel help lead worship at 1 of their 3 worship services.

Girls' Orphanage

Thanks to the generosity of Pastor Samuel's church from Connecticut, USA, the girls received a fantastic array of fun toys and games. We enjoyed a morning filled with engaging activities and laughter with them.
