I'm Hooked on Mission Adventures

I have to admit that I'm hooked on mission adventures with Reaching the Hungry. This trip to Thailand only increased my craving for more. Let me tell you some of the reasons why:
First of all, every mission trip I have gone on is well planned. I have never had any concern about my safety or confusion about what lies ahead. The accommodations are always comfortable, and thought is given to sleeping, eating, and having a working bathroom. All a plus as far as I’m concerned. The food on this trip was gourmet and delicious.
Each ministry outreach went smoothly and filled my heart with the beauty of God’s creation and a love for His children despite cultural and language differences. None of that mattered as we built cross-cultural relationships through interpreters, through hugs and smiles. The love of God connects us all.

It was such a pleasure to come together to support the missions and local pastors. We were taught by them and with them. How beautiful it is when God’s people come
together. For our final days in Thailand, we were gifted with a delightful dinner that boasted lovely Thai entertainment and more of that outstanding food. Added to that, we had a most exciting adventure with elephants where we could feed and then bathe them in the river. They returned the favor by giving us our own "shower". (Watch the video below!)
Now I am blessed with more mission memories. Thanks be to RtH and to God.
